As a
young man my father bought both of
these muzzleloaders from a share-cropper
for
50 cents each.

This gun has
been in my family for
years. It has US Springfield 1863
on one side. The top has Model 1870
with a US stamp of a hat with two arrows.
The receiver has a Q stamped on it.
I just noticed in the Photo the P stamped
on the other part of the action. |
